Recently, every time I've tried to save an mp3 from the internet to my hard
drive by right clicking, it only gives me the option to save it as .mpga,
which won't play properly in any of my music programs. How do I change it so
that I can save the files as what they really are?

Long time ago, I faced a similar problem... I saved it as an .mpga anyway on
the hard disk, and renamed the extension later into .mp3. It worked for me.
(You might have to set 'Explorer' to show file extensions before renaming:
in explorer -> tools -> folder options -> 'view' tab -> in list of advanced
settings, uncheck 'hide known file extensions')

Hope it helps,
Jan
