I have finally been able to get MM to import my .mp2 movie file, but when I
go to add the movie to the storyboard and add effects to it it locks up. I
thought it was just a one time fluke so I had to End Task the program and go
into it again. After multiple tries I could get it to play, but then if I
try to go and play it again in MM it acts like it is playing, but you see no
video. If I try and restart the movie I get the same results. I thought
that maybe it was because it was in a mp2 format so I have another computer
and I imported the same mp2 file on it and did the same things with no
problems. If on the machine I was able to get it working on I created a
movie of it as a AVI and then tried that on the computer that wasn't working
with the mp2 file it handled that new AVI just fine. Any ideas why this
would be? Could it be memory? I have 500mb of memory in the machine that is
not working right. Could it be codecs? I would like to get to the bottom of
this, so if you have any ideas please let me know.
Thanks!
