I would like to add a filter for newsgroup posts in Mozilla 1.4.

The rule would be:
References contain uni-berlin.de

I used customize to create a new filter.
I edited the filter, customizing a news header field to "References".
So after all the rule looks like above.

But there are no matches.

What is wrong?

TIA
Bernd

Maybe ask at one of these "Mozilla" help groups?
netscape.public.mozilla.general
alt.fan.mozilla

You'll be boo'ed out of <net.pub.moz.gen>. Several uppity posters
maintain it's for "developers" only.

Boomer, unless you know better, it's not a good idea to send Mozilla
users to the netscape.public.mozilla groups. They are for developers and
development issues. The last time I lurked in them, about two months
ago, a number of end users got their heads taken off for daring to post
end-user questions ("Mozilla is not end-user software..." & so on).

But alt.fan.mozilla is a very nice group for end users, even though
"Mozilla is not end-user software...".

This page is a good place to send users seeking "technical support"
for Mozilla:

http://www.mozilla.org/start/1.4/support.html

(presumably there will be a similar page when 1.5 final comes out.)
