Mozilla problem

I downloaded 1.4 set it up and no matter what I do, it won't even
start. I uninstalled and installed several times.

I know this is not a Mozilla group per se, but there are so many
knowledgeable people here I thought I'd try.

Perhaps, but this place isn't likely to have people more knowledgable
about Mozilla, than in mozilla forums.

I downloaded 1.4 set it up and no matter what I do, it won't even start. I
uninstalled and installed several times.

I know this is not a Mozilla group per se, but there are so many
knowledgeable people here I thought I'd try.

Sounds like you might have a corrupted downnoad. Try it again, and
while you're at it, why not go for the current 1.5, or better yet,
Firebird 0.7?

I recall when I downloaded the Mozilla program that I had to use the
zip wizard in order to make sure the subdirectories were correctly
produced.
Check the zip file you downloaded and then see if the files went into
the proper subdirectories.

I had the same problem with 1.5. Using Firebird now, it's a fine little
browser.
