Mozilla/Firefox 1.5 is excellent! Much better than IE...

In fact I'd say it's light years ahead of Internet Explorer. It never
gives me any trouble and always works perfectly. The only time it will
ever give any kind of trouble is when I use unsigned extensions. But
that remote at best.

M/F shows that Microsoft doesn't know what they are doing. But, of
course, Microsoft is all about the greenbacks. But I can see why
Microsoft is running scared of Mozilla/Firefox. It's because of M/F
that Microsoft started wok on IE 7.

If anybody is thinking about switching over to M/F from IE, do it. It's
well worth it! Much faster browsing also...for those of you who use
DUN. :)

I agree that Firefox 1.5 is a FAR superior browser to the ancient IE
6. However, don't sell the upcoming IE 7 short. The beta product has a lot
of bugs to work out, but it shows a lot of promise.

The only drawbacks I've encountered with Firefox are:

1) Not all websites display 100% correctly.
2) When a major new version of Firefox is released, many, if not most of
your extensions are not compatible. You have to wait for the authors to
update them.

Very true. The thing to consider, though, is that the reason IE7 even
exists is because of Mozilla/Firefox and its incredible and growing
popularity. It's the first open source made-for-Windows web browser
outside of Microsoft that has attained so much attention and usability
especially for the mainstream PC web surfer that Microsoft had to say
WHOA...we gotta do something, quick. Viola'! IE7.

I don't think the Mozilla Foundation will rest on its laurels. They
have beaten Microsoft, they know how to and I'm certain they plan on
and intend to stay in the lead. Yep, I said "stay in the lead". The M/F
browser is better than IE6. That gives it the lead.

I never had to wait for updated extensions in IE6. IE6 didn't have such
an option as extensions. With IE6, you got what you saw right from the
beginning.

I haven't come accross any website, yet, that gave me any troubles
while using M/F. I've heard there are some but I haven't encountered
them yet. The only I've experienced with M/F that I have to use IE6 for
is manually updating Windows XP.
