While writing code & testing it, my original form in design view got screwed
up!

I want a control to be in the same place everytime I open the form,
regardless of how it was manipulated with code while in form view. Somehow I
saved the form with it moved as per the code in form view. Is there a few
rules of thumb (I must have broken) to avoid this during the testing stages?

Set the Left and Top properties of the control in the Form_Open event.
