Larry,
If the text is in a textbox you drew yourself, select the box and cut and
paste on the appropriate slide, if the text is in a placeholder say bulleted
text, consider using the outline tab on the left of your screen, activate
the outline toolbar, select the text you want to move and use the paragraph
up and down arrows. You can move the text to another slide if necessary.
Or if all that does not suite your needs, just select the text you want to
move, cut, go to the slide where you want to use it, put the curser in a
placeholder and paste. Or just plain paste the text on the slide which will
paste it as a regular textbox.
