moving TEMP and TMP

I have tried creating a component that sets
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Environment\TEMP (and
TMP) to point to a non-EWF-protected drive, e.g. d:\temp.

I also have a build order dependency which indicates that the chosen Session
Manager (Minlogon or Windows Logon Standard) must be built before my
component. To achieve this, I placed a Build Order Dependency on the Windows
Logon Process dependency group. But, still, my settings do not take. Is
there another component that is overwriting this even later?

I was going to try to add another build order dependency on the Windows
Subsystem dependency group, just to see if that helps, but it's kind of a
shot in the dark.

Thanks,
Ann

I have tried creating a component that setsEach reg entry will have its own build order. edit the registry entry
in component designer and set the build order to 32767.

Thanks, I will give that a try. It's an interesting number, but what's
magical about it in this case?

Thanks,
Ann
