Hello,
This morning, all of a sudden, my start menu and task bar moved from the
bottom of my display to the right side. I have tried to drag it back, but
that is not working to drag it from top to bottom. I tried to run the system
retore to a checkpoint yesterday, but that came back as incomplete. I do not
want the start menu (now located in the top right corner) and the task bar
(directly under the start menu button) on the right side. How can I reset
this?

Right click the taskbar, then click to clear the Lock Taskbar option.

Left click, in the middle of the Taskbar, hold down the button and drag the
Taskbar down to the bottom.

Right click the taskbar, then click Lock the Taskbar.

Now it can't be moved or resized unless the Lock Taskbar option is cleared
again.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

You must click the correct spot when you drag the taskbar back. Have
very few tasks running so it's easy to click a blank area. Don't click
in the QL area, the Notification area, or any other place other than the
taskbar where the list of running tasks are shown.

Thanks - this works - however to clarify... Right clicking in the middle of
the Taskbar doesn't work. You have to right click on the left edge of the
bar and drag to be successful.

Thanks again. It is a small thing but very annoying!
