Moving Server to New HD

I've win2k server installed across two small hard drives, and I'm
trying to move the whole system to a new large HD. I installed a
utlility install of Win2k in a small partition on the new HD, and used
it to copy the three partitions off the old hard drives onto the new
one, then I disconnected the old hard drives.

I set up boot.ini to boot to the copied system, and it starts up, but
when it gets to "starting network" it gives me an error about how
directory services can't find lsass.exe, then the only option it gives
me is to reboot.

I'm guessing that what's happened is that when I moved the system, it
screwed up all the drive letters (because lsass.exe is right where it
should be on the system drive). I can get into the copied system
registry using my utility boot and regedt32, but I have no idea how
it's set up which partition to point to which drive letter, so I don't
know how to sort it out. I need to know which key points to which
drive and partition and set the drive letters back to the original
config, but it just has a long cryptic key associated with each drive
letter.

Here's how the new drive looks, and which drive letters I want:

Drive 0
Partition 1: Utility Win2k boot (drive letter doesn't matter)
Partition 2: Main Win2k Server System (should be C:)
Partition 3: Programs (should be D:)
Partition 4: Data (Should be E:)

Hi Paul

I would just use ntbackup to create a full system backup -
install the new HD (keep the root-partition onto the same
drive-letter as the "old" one) with an win2k server as
simple as possibly and then restore again with ntbackup -
and reboot.
What are you using this utility install of for ??

The original system had two hard drives, and the boot partition was on
the second drive. But maybe I can leave one of the two orinigal
drives in and recreate the original configuration but with the new
hard drive. I was thinking about leaving one of the old drives
installed for backup anyway.

To copy the system while it's not running and to be able to fix stuff
in case the copied system didn't boot.
