If I understand correctly, with the beta for WETC down I cannot move
programs. How can I move my Print Artist program if I don't have the install
disks? I have an external HD,so can I move it onto there and then load it via
the external HD onto my Vista PC?

You can't usually move programs by copying because although you can copy
the files you cannot copy the registry entries for them. Also, the
installer for programs often has to make choices based on the machine it
is being asked to install the software on, and may have to install
suitable drivers etc. Only rarely do programs run "Standalone".

I recall reading a couple of posts a few weeks ago that there are consumer
level third party programs that can migrate apps. I wish I could remember
the context. Try googling. Also, someone may have a recommendation,
particularly shareware.
