When I click on my start tab and then on my All Programs
button, my list of programs pops up. Problem is I have 3
coloumns of programs and I am only able to view 2 of
them. The list pops up 1/3 of the way from the left side
of the screen and conitues on past the right side. I can
not figure a way to move this list over. As they are
listed in alphabetical order....I am able to see only
programs A-R and the third column is just visible enough
to see the first letter of each program. Each time I try
to write to Microsoft, I get forwarded to Dell site where
they continue to tell me to reconfigure my computer to a
date where the list was fine. It has been like this since
the computer was new.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Because users are stupid MS changed it to silly 95 panes. Start - Control Panel - Taskbar & Start Menu - Start Menu - Advanced - Scroll Programs.

But no user is a dumb as dell.

In addition to David's scrolling fix, you might want to do some much needed
maintenance on the All Programs folder to cut down the number of items you
have displaying there.

Create some folders like Games, Utilities, Office, Music, Images, etc, etc
to categorize all of those menu shortcuts. Right click the All Programs
button and select Explore All Users. Click the Programs folder, create the
new folders and drag/drop the menu shortcuts into them.
