Hi

I have a system with 2 ,2 gig drives. I have XP loaded on the C drive but
there is only about 500 megs left. I would like to have any programs I
install to go to the D drive.
Also the Internet temp files.

How can I do this. I remember in 98 this could be accomplished by a registry
entry change. It's no big deal if the system crashes as it's a clean install
so I can just reload if a problem develops

Thanks in advance
Rick

Hi Rick,
To move the temporary files to the D: drive, open internet explorer and
click on tools>internet options and click on settings under 'Temporary
Internet Files' and then click on 'Move folder'. Specify the new folder and
OK your way out.

And regarding your other question, whenever you install a program, it will
ask you the location where you want to install that program. Simply browse
to the desired location/folder on the D: drive.
