I am in the process of changing computers. I need to move my Outlook contacts to the new machine. Both computers operate on XP. I am not conected to an exchange server so I need to find a way to email my current contact list or burn it on a CD to get to my new computer. Can anyone help me

All Outlook data is contained in one file. The safest thing you can do is
simply save that file, copy it to a CD, then configure your new installation
to use the same file. The file you need to transfer is your Personal Folders
file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

You only posted your operating system. That is not relevant. What is
relevant is your Outlook version. Then we could give you more complete
instructions on how to configure your new installation to use your current
PST file.
