I want to move Outlook 2007 data files from my desktop (XP) to my new laptop
(Vista). I read the offline Help instructions for moving data files, but am
still confused about the process. I searched for .pst files>copied the files
to a flash drive. I setup Outlook on the laptop. It has the Personal Folder
which was created during setup. How do I copy the old data files to the
laptop? Do the user names in the path have to match? Once this is all done,
will email still arrive in Outlook on my desktop and my laptop? Will this
move files, journal, contacts from the desktop OL to the laptop OL? Thank you
for your help.
