Hi all,

I want to default "My Documents" folder from the C: drive to my D: drive &
call it "Dave's Documents".
I've sort of worked out how to do it, but it doesn't want to move & default
sub-folders like "My Pictures, "My Music", etc to D: drive.
Is there any way around this? I also want to rename these sub-folders to
"Dave's Pictures", etc.
Running Windows XP Media Edition 2005.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Dave.

Tweak-UI ( Powertoy for XP ) can redirect most of your profile
folders. Expand the My Computer category, then Special Folders.
Toggle the window to show which profile component you wish to
move and click the "Change Location". Doing this only changes
the Registry key value for the folder and assumes you've already
created the new destination folder (With any name you choose)
and moved/copied the content to the new location.

Direct download link for Tweak-UI 2.10.0.0:

**Be sure all your personal data is backed up before making
these kind of changes.

Change the Default Location of the My Documents Folder

This relocates the sub-folders (My Music/My Pictures) as well.
