Hi.

Now I found a new host... BUT NOW I HAVE ANOTHER STUPID PROBLEM!

ugh!

I have been working on the server via my fp2002 for my website.. instead of
publishing each new page or change on a page... I just hit save and I'm
right on the server.

problem... I am trying to move to a new host...

HOW do I SAVE what is ONLINE since It's not LOCALLY on my PC it's up there
!??

and when Idid an IMPORT and opened a new web and tried to import it... I
lost my theme and MY ENTIRE navigation links and everything.

what do I do to move my site?

Can you open your current site directly in FP, if so then File Menu |
Publish Web to a location on your HD, like c:\mywebsite

Make sure you new host provide static IP accounts, not shared, or you will
not be able to publish until domain name has been transferred, which would
cause your to be off-line.

Then open and publish c:\mywebsite to your new host using File Menu |
Publish Web and http://IPAddress, since you will have to wait for your
domain to be transferred.

well, now I can get back on the site... and yet I did figure it out and I am
saving to my HD right now! YAY! thanks!

I am looking in the static IP issue- I think he does have it. yes - he
does.

so after I download "publish" to my PC I will upload to my static IP and
then hit my godaddy account to switch my DNS server and then just sit back
and wait.

Thanks so much!

Hope I get it all right when the time comes! *LOL*
