Is there a way to incorporate moving graphics like the visualizations in
Window Media Player into Windows Movie Maker?

You might find some movie clips of visualizations
online that you could use but they won't respond
to your music like they do in Windows Media Player.

Also...animated .gif files will work in Movie Maker.

Yes, I do screen capture sessions using the Windows Media Encoder to get
video files for use in movie projects... I capture from Windows Medial
Player and iTunes.
 
Les, your post led me to check the free version of Expression Encoder 3.
Here's the result, using screen capture sessions of iTunes and Windows
Media Player.
