Moving graph

Is it possible to create a graph in powerpoint 2007 that is drawn while
running my presentation. To further clearify: a graph with a moving line the
first time it comes up on the screen. If so, how can I do this? I think it
would greatly embellish my presentation.
Thank you.

Most often, i draw a manual graph (a curve for example) and put a sweeping
animation from left to right.

In addition to Jean-Pierre's idea:
Click on the chart to select it, click animations, Custom Animation
In the Custom Animation pane, click Add, Entrance, and choose an animation
from the ones available.
Click on drop down arrow next to the animation and choose Effect Options,
Chart Animation
Experiment with the options available.

If animations are new for you, see:

Thank you very much for al of your thinking and writing. But I do know how
to use Animation effects. It is just that I thought perhaps with the new
Office 2007 version there was a possibility that a line was drawn through the
dots of the graph. I guess this is not (yet) available.

Thanks a lot,

Marjo

Try this:

Entrance Animation set to Wipe From Left
Chart animation set to:
Group Chart: By Category or By Series (your choice)
Uncheck the box for Start animation by drawing the chart background
