Moving from POP3 to IMAP

I want to move to IMAP so that my messages are available to me regardless of which PC I use. However, under Tools, Email Accounts, View/Change existing, it is impossible to change the type of account. The only option I see is to set up my account from scratch as IMAP. However, then I loose my mailbox or would have to keep two message stores which I do not want. Any idea on how a migration may be done while preserving my past messages (or actually uploading them to the IMAP server)?

I use Outlook 2003, but this was the same way in previous versions.

Cheers, Thorbjorn

You must create a new IMAP account and remove the POP account. The data in your IMAP account will appear in a separate store with its own Inbox.

You must add a new account. Since you are using POP3 you don't have any
messages on the server. You mst drag and drop those from you pst-file to the
IMAP server (if supported). Note that you'll probably have a limit on that
mailbox so you might not be able to upload all your messages.
