moving files on LAN

I have a LAN with 3 machines, one was runing NT4.0 & the
other two Win 98se. The LAN was working fine untill I put
XP professional on the NT4 machine & the laptop (home
addition). Now when I try moving files between the XP
machines I get an error message " cannot create or replace:
access denied". I can move files to the 98se machine fine
but not to or from the XP machines. Sharing is set at the
drive level on all 3 machines. This makes the LAN totaly
useless. Any ideas?

Try playing around with the Local Security Policy dialog in Administrative
Tools in the Control Panel. See if any option pertains to your situation and
change it accordingly.

There might be a problem with the NTFS file permissions on XP. Try
un-sharing and re-sharing the drives.
