I have a zipped file in My Documents that I want to move to a folder in
Program Files, but I can't figure out how to do that with Win XP Home
Edition. When I go to my Windows Explorer (C drive), the left side doesn't
show the folders so I can drag the file over to it and right-clicking the
file doesn't give me any option I want.
How do I move the file from My Documents to a folder in Program Files? When
I downloaded it, I should have made certain the target was correct, but
that's water under the bridge now.
Any help would be appreciated

Well, I shot off my mouth before I checked out everything. I see by
clicking on the file, I have a choice to move it on the left side. Sorry.

You could open two Explorer windows and drag from one window to the other.

Also to get the tree view to appear, click on the Folders button in the
standard toolbar. If you do not have a Folders button, right click on the
toolbar. Uncheck Lock the Toolbar and then select Customize.Use the screen
that appears to add the Folders button. Click OK. If you want to return the
toolbar to its locked state, right click on it again to check that option.

The Folders button acts as a toggle button: Click it once to make the
folder tree appear. Click it again to return to folder view (minus the
tree).
