moving entries from one calendar to another

when i move an entry from the main calendar to the one i want it in, it
leaves a copy in main calendar. i don't want that, it did not do that in 2003
version.

How are you doing the "move"? Edit>Move to Folder or right-click/drag>Move
usually works for me. In fact, left-click/drag should default to a move.
 
both ways leave a copy on calendar i move it from, then when i try to delete
the one i don't want it forces me to send a cancellation.
