I have been using Outlook for years and really like how it allows me
to stay organized. About a year ago I found out that I could move
emails to the task list to keep my inbox clean... a great option. On
occasion I will receive an email with a form or other attachment that
I need to fill out or review, I would like to be able to move this
email alin with the attachment to my task list but when I do this the
attachment is not retained with the task. Anyone have a good
solution?

Using the Tasks folder to hold messages to keep your Inbox clean is not an
approach I'd use because it changes the nature of the item. I'd use other
mail folders that I've named with a title that relates to the purpose of the
message.

You can right click and drag the message to your tasks folder and when you
release the mouse, you will have options.

However, I agree with Brian that this is not a particularly effective use of
the Tasks folder for storing mail, unless your mail is a list of tasks you
need to accomplish.

Thanks, the right click was exactly what I was looking for. I don't
use my tasks folders to hold all of my mail just some select items and
on occasion these contain attachments.
