I have a user that just got a new laptop. Her emails need to be moved from the old PC to this new one. I know that I can create the folders manually on the new pc and then copy and paste the .dbx files from the old one and this will move them, but I was wondering if there was an easier way to do this. There is no exchange server in the equation and the laptop has XP Pro. The old PC is running 98. Thanks for the help!

Dude, no prob!
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;270670 is the link
to how this is accomplished, you don't need to create new folders.
Isolate the specific messages from the source computer by using:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307971 NOTE: this
MOVES, doesn't copy or backup, the original messages, dont' do this to any
other computers with kids or "wild clickers" with access to it.
Please post other Outlook Express messages in the Outlook Express newsgroups
as this group is intended for MSOutlook 97 and higher.
