What is the best way to transfer all my programs and data
from one XP Home computer to another, much newer machine?
Thanks in advance.

You can transfer files and settings only; programs must be
reinstalled using the original installation media.

Nicholas, there are several programs that will transfer
everything individually, or even copy one hard
disk "image" onto another. My question was which approach
is better?
