Moving data between computers

I travel a lot and must move outlook data between my laptop and home pc. I
have backed up the pst file from notebook to a thumb drive. Outlook runs
just fine on the PC as long as the thumb drive is installed. But it does not
come on at all with thumb drive removed.

How do I get the data into the PC permanently?? I've tried everything I can
think of.

Sounds like you have corrupted your current Outlook profile. Since you have
provided no information whatsoever about what you did to create your problem
or resolve it(other than "I have tried everything I can think of"--which
tells us nothing), the only option we can suggest is that you create a new
outlook profile.
