Moving Charts

Hello,

When I make charts, I am always moving them around, or repositioning elements within the chart. The draw back of this, is that I have to move all of it with my mouse. Is there a way to select certain elements within the chart and move them but using the keyboard arrows? I want to do this, cause I'll have more control over where things are placed. Granted, I still can do this by using the mouse, but sometimes it takes a few tries if I need it positioned EXACTLY where it needs to be. If I could move it with the arrows, pixel by pixel, it would be quicker & easier.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jay Gustafson

Wouldn't that be nice? But that's not included in Excel's native
features. Rob Bovey's Chart Labeler (a free download from
http://appspro.com) allows you to move a chart's data labels by clicking
with your mouse on arrow buttons. Maybe you could look under the hood,
see how he did it, and try it on other chart elements.

Continuing my other post.... If what you're doing is getting your charts
to all look alike, but not like the default format, you could record a
macro while you fix up one chart, then rerun the macro on the other
charts. Not exactly what you asked for, but it might have the benefit
you seek.
