Hello All, Is it possible to move the lateral position on a page that the
change bars appear. I have a table that has information that changed, but
because of the width of the table, the change bar is in the middle of the far
right cell. I want to move it further right to be outside of the table.

Thanks for any help.

Jim.

I assume the table is centered, so it wouldn't help to move the change bars
to the left? I'm afraid that's really about all you can do: there's a choice
of Left, Right, and Outside.

Yup, tried the left/right/center deal, but because of the width of this
table, neither of the three work.

You've given me some pretty slick tricks in the past, I was hoping you had
one for this! Thanks anyway.

Jim.

It's a nasty hack, but you can accept the change (or turn off the change
bars) and place a line in the margin with the drawing tool. I'd do that only
on a copy of the document intended for printing, not the one you're still
working on.

If there are lots of changes in the document, you'll want a macro to do the
dirty work. I think I recall seeing one in the VBA newsgroups, probably from
Doug Robbins.
