Chris

I am in the process of moving our Primary and Suborinate
CA's to new servers. I am following the steps in KB
article# 298138.

The article says the the computer name and directory paths
need to be the same on the new server. Since you cannot
have two servers with the same name on the network at the
same time, should I shutdown the old server and then
rename the other server and join it to the domain?

Thanks,

Chris

When I get the new server up and running, the old server
will be retired. Do I need to turn the system on again to
perform any task or can I just wipe the system?

Thanks for your help.

Chris

I would just make sure the new system is 100% functional with no errors
before wiping old system
