I'm aware that netfolders facilitates synchronization of
the calender and some other outlook items. However, is
it possible that additions and modifications be made to
the calendar and updated on a subscriber's copy of the
calendar while having the calendar currently open?
My concern is that the calendar on everyone's pc is not
refreshed if they are currently working on their copy of
the calendar. Therefore, one person can have there
calendar open all day and schedule appointments that may
no longer be available but they are unaware since leaving
the calendar open may be preventing their copy from being
updated. If the file cannot be updated while in use, is
there away around this? What are the options?
If netfolders was discontinued in Outlook 2002, what
options are available now besides using microsoft
exchange server. Also, is there a way of synchronizing
outlook on different computers without using the
Internet? Seems unecessary to me in cases where all
subscribing computers are physically at the same location.
Thanks for the help!
