Moving an entire calendar of appointments

Is it possible to an entire calendar's appointments to another calendar. For
example, if you use multiple calendars, could you "select" a particular
calendar in some manner and transfer all the appointments in the selected
calendar to another calendar without having to move appointments individually
or in small groups?
 
All appointments/events or just selected ones? If all, display the calendar
by category and drag and drop to the preferred category. If only one
particular category, do the same but select the category and drag and drop.
