Justin,
If you need a simpler method for moving objects between different domains
in a single forest you can use movetree.exe from the Support Tools.

I'm now realizing i should have just stuck with a primary domain. I now
have the issue of moving all users/computers from site.domain.com to
domain.com. Will ADMT do this for me? Is this a huge pain in the ass? The
only reason I'm considering doing this is for login/auth issues.
