Hi everyone

I have a big presentation next week and I would like to make it quite
visual. on the second slide I would like to have six photos around the edges
of the slide then when I click on one it goes to the middle and increases in
size - on another click of the mouse it goes back to its original position
and size.

The first three bits go ok and I can manage that but I can't get it to go
back to its original position and size.

Is it possible to do this and is it possible to do this with all six
pictures on the slide?

Cheers in advance

You need powerpoint 2002 (aka xp) or above to be able to animate things off
the screen. Or to move pictures to where YOU want them to go.

what version do you have?

My advice is forget about the picture returning to it's original position.

Yes, the math is not complicated and you can fairly easily combine an
shrink and path. The problem is the trigger. Say you trigger in picture 4 and
then click picture 2. How will it know which picture to shrink back?? If you
use an exit eg faded zoom on ALL of the pictures it's no proble to make them
appear agin. If you apply a shrink/path to ALL there's no way to know how
many times the shrink has been applied or where they are!

Sorry it's a long explaination but bottom line is don't go there if you need
triggers

You might want to look at the last slide of the demo here to see what an
exit looks like

You can get this effect without the Add In but you will need a lot more
animations

Or here but this will not work with random triggers
