moving a contact from one database to another?

i use bcm to track prospects and sales. and i have a db for
contacts/prospects and another db for the actual sales. when a contact
converts to a sale, is there a way to move the contact from the
contacts/prospecs db to the actual sales db?

Export the contact from one db and import it into the other db.
 
Click on File, Import and Export, Business Contact Manager, Export, .BCM
format, then on the next panel choose Select Records. Find your contact and
export to that file. Do the import into your archive DB in a similar way.
Then, delete the record out of the source DB.
