movies - the audio plays but the video doesnt

Hi all

I am dropping an AVI into powerpoint. Everything looks good, I see the first frame of the video on the slide. When I double click it, the audio plays but the video just goes black. The AVI plays great in media player 9. I am in powerpoint 2003 and I have already downloaded and installed the Codec Package for IT Professionals from Microsoft. Does anybody have any suggestions

By any chance are you trying to display it on a secondary video source like
a projector or second screen?
It's a long shot, but my notebooks won't play video's on both. It's one or
the other.
