I have imported from my video camera to Windows Movie Maker, created a
project, and saved it as a movie. Then I used Roxio DVD Builder to create a
DVD.
I am running out of space on my computer. I am wondering if each piece of
footage is saved in 3 places or if it is really only there once? If I delete
the movie will it affect the DVD? I would like to keep something in the
computer, but also am looking for a way to get some memory back.
Suggestions?

If you like video editing then buying a new hdd would be best.
When you make a movie you have all the original files, the project file
which is small in comparison and then when you make a movie you will have
the final movie file. When you make a dvd you will have the dvd project
files, which will be small and if you save a copy of the dvd to the pc then
you will have this movie file.
