I have updated my windows with Microsoft update, both with express and
custom. I have all updates. Unfortunately windows movie maker doesn't seem
to update. The version I have is 2.0.3312.0
I'm having trouble with this version since wmm freezes when I import video
files.

All other files show version 2.1.4026.0

How can I get wmm version 2.1?

I had already read both those sites before posting my question. In
searching for the 2.1 version of moviemkexe I discovered that it did not
exist on my harddrive even though SP2 had been installed as well as all
updates.

I downloaded SP2 and reinstalled. Now all file versions are 2.1.4026.0.
Problem appears resolved.

Thanks
