I have Vista on a dual boot with XP, separate partitions on same drive.

MovieMaker works fine, as ever, on XP, but on Vista there's no option to
capture video from TV/VCR.

Please describe how you are capturing video. With a tuner card? If so,
have you checked the manufacturer's website for Vista drivers?

That is correct...in responce to my question, they admitted that they
dropped ALL support for analog capture in Windows Media player in
Vista...They said they wanted to focus on current technology...
If I did not get this product at a GREAT price, I would definately think
twice about updating...They have dropped several key features for me, and
made decisions on others that are driving me crazy.
