Moviemaker won't import......

I have had no problems with Movie Maker till now.

Clicking on an MPEG media file to 'Import into Collections' or dragging the
file to Movie Maker results in a diologue box with the following message:
...........file name..".MPEG could not be imported. An interface has too many
methods to fire events from"

What could it be and why?

WMM does not like MPEG files in any way shape or form. Some will import but
most won't. You should use a different program to convert the MPEG to
either a WMV or AVI file before importing into WMM. See www.PapaJohn.org,
