MovieMaker Upgrade Download Problems

1st – I’m assuming I need to upgrade to MM2, but maybe I already have it. When I clidk on About My Windows MovieMaker it says Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633: Service Pack 1) Copyright 1981-2001 Microsoft Corporation Windows Movie Maker Version 2.0.3312.0. – Do I need to update to MM2?

When I tried to download MM2 it gave me “Error 1904.Module c:\Program Files\Movie Maker\WMMZAE.dll failed toregster. HRESULT. Contact you support personnel.†Two additional errors came up with the same message except they said “WMMZFXA†& “WMMXFXB.†Any thoughts?

You do already have version 2.
Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633: Service Pack 1) his is your
windows xp version
Windows Movie Maker Version 2.0.3312.0. This is your MM version

Well there you go - Thanks Graham! Anything I should do about the partial install that failed? Thanks again.
 
So long as you only have one set of files and MM works ok you shouldn't have
a problem
