Movie Won't Play

I have a Powerpoint file with slides and a movie in *.WMV format. This was
put together with Powerpoint2007 and saved with Powerpoint2003
compatibility. The file works OK when in Powerpoint2007, but when I try to
play in another PC with Powerpoint2003, the movie will not start. Are there
any solutions to fix this.

Is the movie copied to the new computer and in the same folder at it was on
the 2007 computer? Videos are not embedded and they also are very
susceptible to being in a long path or different folder than originally
linked from.
 
That was the problem. I copied the video to the local PC where it will be
played. Thank you very much.
