Movie won't play until I page past it and come back

I can't get my mpg movie to play unless I page past it and come back to the
previous slide. After that, it seems to play ok. I use the file for
training and expect that other trainers can get the movie to come up without
any special effort.

We have seen a number of posts like yours but so far I've not found a solid
reason for it. Would it be possible for you to send me the video and
presentation for review?

Yes, the video is a large file, though. It may not be possible to email it.

I fixed my problem. I guess Powerpoint handles different file types, such as
..wmv, .mpg, .avi differently. I just changed the name of my file from .mpg
to .avi and it plays first time, everytime. Go figure!!
