RE0713

I made the movie in movie maker. saved to my hard drive
and played in media player. it plays for a few frames
then sicks on a picture, but the music keeps playing.
any ideas on what could be the problem. thank you

I have seen various posts with similar problems. Can you try rendering your
movie in the DV-AVI format?

To do this, when you're on the Movie Settings page choose "Other Settings"
and select DV-AVI from the list (if Other Settings isn't visible then click
"Show more choices...").

Then play back the resultant file and see if it's OK. If so then import that
file back into MovieMaker (you want to turn off the "Create clips for video
files" option at the bottom of the Import dialog so you just get it as one
clip). Then drag that down to the timeline and republish it as WMV with your
chosen profile.

I have the same problem tried about everything to fix
it. I'm not sure what the problem is. Perhaps you
should try to restore your comp when you had reg movie
maker, burn that to disk and then go to the present state
of your comp and reinstall that, then update to mm2.
I've tried that and it doesn't work for me, but just a
suggestion. Don't worrry, your not alone.
