I was just wondering if anyone knew of any movie making software.
Unfortunately I don't have XP and cannot get it. I currently have 98 SE and
can upgrade to 2000. I'm looking for something along the lines of windows
movie maker. I've used this and liked the way you use it and it's ease. I
like the fact that you can add recorded sound and have music in the
background. If anyone knows of any movie making software compatible with 98
SE or windows 2000

I'm thinking the first version of Movie Maker was
included with Windows ME. The following article
is one of three that offers some info on using that
version:

Movie Maker (Part 1 of 3)

You may find the likes of Pinnacle studio 9 plus or Ulead videostudio 8 are
just as easy to use as MM. They are not too expensive and you can download
them both for free trials, so you can try before you buy.
One word of warning though, having too many editing apps on a system can
cause problems adn pinnacles app does not totally remove itself when
uninstalled, or at least it didn't use to, so I'd try Ulead first and if you
like it stick with it.
Also, look in at the www.simplydv.com forums, where several members use both
apps.
