first question is there two program movie maker & movie maker 2.0 or is it the same progra
the nest question is does movie maker allow you to save or produce your video in a mpeg format or only in wmv forma

First of all movie maker 1&2 are the same program with the exception that movie maker 2 is far more advanced and better than the first
Movie Maker will not save a movie file in Mpeg it will only save it in wmv or avi
the best thing to do is save the movie in avi and convert it with another program
I use tmpgenc because its free, and it does a good job of it.
