Movie maker won't stay open

When i open my Windows Movie maker, it will stay open for a few seconds, but
then a box pops up that says sorry for the inconvenience but an unexpected
error has occured and movie make needs to close. i've sent error reports, and
updated my windows, but it still says the same thing. any ideas?
 
HI..

I noticed (& stil espeirnce the message) it since updating to SP3. - wich
cannot rollback .. ha ha!

I ignore the error, and continue using movie maker...(don'y click on any of
the options)
I'm still waiting for assistance from varios forums.....

I have recently turned to Nero -- its more stable - and does the job, though
a bit labourious --

SP3 can be uninstalled by a number of methods. The easiest way is though
'Add or Remove Programs'. Simply click on the SP3 update and select
'remove'.
