Haven't used it since I first got tyhe PC 2 years ago. Now I Ican't get it
to start. When I try I get a message saying it failed to initialize.

SP2 is incorporated into my verison of XP so I can unintall it, I'm going
nuts trying to find ways to fix this little bugger. Help Please.

The link above does not deal with the problem. The problem is that the
program appears to be there, but something prevents it from starting. Every
time I try to start the program there is a message that the program failed to
initialize properly.
I've tried downloading it from download.com, even tried installing SP2
again, but got nowhere.

Just seem like this ought to be an easy fix, but it's not. Any other
program would be fixed by re-installing, but not this little bugger. The
Microsoft responses that come back when I try to information are the most
useless.

I'm not a programmer or IT specialist, just a guy who wants to edit some
video. It's probably my fault that the program is screwed up, but I've never
had this much grief trying to fix a broken app. HELP, please.
