Hi, In my "My Videos" Folder, I identify each one with a photograph, but I
don't seem to be able to customize the lastest video I made. It is a MSWMM
file. I'd like to make this a folderwith a photo like the other ones.
Hope this makes sense.
Any ideas , anyone.
thank you in advance

..mswmm is not a video file...it is your
project file and does not include the
source files (pictures, music, videos).

You can add a picture to a folder if
you place a copy of a picture in the
folder and rename it folder.jpg.

Hi, I've made the movie 2 more times, and I still get the MSWMM file. I
followed the directions to a "T" so I will try it one more time.
thank you John

Sorry...but I don't see how you could use
the steps I posted and wind up with
a .mswmm project file.

Is it possible that the .wmv movie saved
in a different folder and you are accessing
the .mswmm file that you already had?

Hi John, sorry, my mistake, I was jumping ahead, and I finally saw that
"project File" and "Movie File" were different things, so I gave it another
try with success, saving it to a WMV file. It's in the My Videos folder,
but now I'm still trying to make it a "folder" with photo on the front. Can
you tell me how to change it. I've tried to rename it but it tells me if I
do that, the file may becaome unusable. thank you once again for helping me.

You cannot change the video file into
a folder...don't alter the video file...

What you can do is create a new folder
and insert the video file into it.

In your My Videos folder...go to...File /
New / Folder.

Name the folder....(type a name)

Place the video file in the new folder.

If you don't see a picture on the New
Folder...you can add one by using the
steps I previously posted for you.

You can add a picture to a folder if
you place a copy of a picture in the
folder and rename it folder.jpg.
