Movie Maker will not initiate

I am using XP with SP3. Whien Istart the program, I get the message that
Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have used this program in the past successively

Some WinXP users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try. (not sure...but IE 8 may be an issue also)
